In acnient times, barrrel cylindes, of which this is a copy, were used to record important historical events and were then buried of kept in an archive for future reference of commeration. The famous Cyrus cylinder records the destruction of the Babylonia Empire. His capture of Babylon fulfilled Bible prophecy and lead to the release of the captive Jews from Babylon.
